Wisbech u3a, which is part of an international movement, has approx. 150 members and has been established for 11 years.

Membership is open to anyone no longer in full-time employment.

A very wide range of leisure and social activities are available in our special interest groups which often meet in members’ homes. Our motto is “Learn, Laugh , Live” and that sums things up very well.

All of our activities are run by our members who share their knowledge, experience and expertise with other like-minded people.

In addition to the special interest groups, a monthly open meeting is held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at St. Peters Church Hall in Wisbech.

Meetings commence at 2-30pm and prospective new members are warmly welcomed.

There is no need to pre-book for these meetings which always feature a guest speaker and afford an ideal opportunity to come along and meet us, find out what we do, when we do it and how we do it..

The entry fee of £1 includes refreshments. If you find that you like us then membership costs £18 per annum and this includes regular copies of our national magazine mailed to your door.

Membership application forms are available at our open meetings as well as fuller information on many of the groups that we run.

Much more information, including contact details, is available on our website.
